In my last post I brought your attention to two major denominations who either had “bent the rules” or were considering moves that compromise the basic teachings of Christianity. Now, I am sad to report, the ELCA is considering the same. You may read more about it at the “One News Now” website: ELCA considering relaxing rules on homosexual clergy.
I guess the the Bible — for years held up as God’s truth, guidance,  and word to humanity — is no longer the guiding light of these denominations that were once the vanguard of the faith.  Please say a prayer for these denominations that hold so much sway over many people.  They need to return to God’s word, read it, believe it, and make policy based upon what they find there.
