When I first started writing about Psalm 13, I approached it pretty analytically, that is to say, I was looking at it like a piece of literature. But the more I read the psalm itself and commentaries about the psalm, the more I realized it was a lesson for each of us.
It teaches us about depression and despair and it tells us how we can get out of the hole despair has helped us dig. It also hints to the fact that we need to give God our praises and thanksgiving for everything we have and everything that happens to us.
So, if you sometimes feel the world is against you or that God has abandoned you, this psalm is for you. You can find it by navigating to the Psalm 13 page.
