Just published: a new page on Psalm 14. This psalm is one of the passages in the Bible in which atheism is addressed. You’ll also find some information about three Hebrew words that are translated as “fool.”
For instance, did you know that nabal is a Hebrew word for fool? For most of my readers, probably not. I certainly didn’t before putting this together. Nabal, in fact, describes one of the worst kinds of fools that a person could be! Why am I picking on this word? Nabal is the name of a man in the Bible who came to an early end. You can read the story of David and Abigail and Nabal in 1 Samuel 25:2-39.
All-in-all, I think it is a good study that will give you more insight into the Book of Psalms.
