Thank you for the kind words. Yes, there is a responsibility that every teacher carries and it is a bit frightening. I don't know how many times I have written a post or a page and just let it sit in the queue where it waits for that "Publish" button to be clicked. I have a few writings that I have started and haven't continued or completed because it just doesn't feel right. This is why those of us who are in the position of teaching need to listen to what the Lord has to say. I encourage you to have trust in the Holy Spirit to lead you as you, in turn, lead your small group, and do not become discouraged when it appears that what you are teaching them is having no effect. You are planting the seed and if it doesn't sprout immediately, it is at least inside the hearer and it is her/his responsibility to water it. Thank you for signing up and welcome to quietshout.

Hello, Morey. I recently began facilitating a small group that is reading through the Old Testament in a year. I found your site while doing research on types of Psalms. Like you, I take seriously the reminder that those who teach will be held to a higher standard and my greatest concern about this undertaking is the possibility of saying or doing something that could damage the faith of someone else. Thank you for your good work. I look forward to visiting your blog frequently.
